joo (“the app”, “we”, “us”) is a personal finance tracking app provided by Akos Kis-Kallo (Romania). This policy explains what we collect, why, and your choices. Questions: akos@famescale.co.

1. Who we are

The app is provided by Akos Kis-Kallo, Romania. For any privacy question contact akos@famescale.co.

2. What we collect

We only collect what you give us:

• Account information: the email address and password you use to sign up. Your password is handled by our authentication provider (Supabase) and is stored only in a hashed form — we never see or store your plaintext password.
• Financial data you enter: cash account names and balances, recurring and periodic costs, debts, revenue, savings, investments, goals, and the money in/out transaction log. This is the data the app exists to track.

We do not collect device location, contacts, photos, advertising identifiers, or analytics/behavioural data. The app contains no third‑party advertising or analytics SDKs.

3. How we use it

Your data is used solely to provide the app’s functionality: storing your finances, syncing them across your devices, and authenticating your account. We do not use it for advertising or profiling, and we do not sell or rent it to anyone.

4. Where it is stored (processors)

Your data is stored in our hosted database and authentication service operated by Supabase, Inc. on your behalf. Data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS) and is protected by per‑user access controls so that one account cannot read another account’s data. Supabase’s privacy practices: supabase.com/privacy.

We use no other third‑party data processors.

5. Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal or financial data with third parties, except:

• our processor (Supabase) strictly to operate the service, and
• where required by law.

6. Data retention and deletion

We keep your data for as long as your account exists. You can request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by emailing akos@famescale.co. We will delete it within 30 days of verifying the request.

7. Your rights

The app is provided from Romania and this policy is governed by Romanian law; EU GDPR applies. Depending on where you live (e.g. GDPR/EEA, UK, California), you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict its processing. To exercise any of these, contact akos@famescale.co.

8. Children

The app is not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 in the EEA), and we do not knowingly collect data from them. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact akos@famescale.co and we will delete it.

9. Security

We use encrypted transport (HTTPS/TLS) and per‑user row‑level access controls. No method of storage or transmission is 100% secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your data.

10. Changes

We may update this policy. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, an in‑app notice.
