User Data Deletion Instructions — FameScale

FameScale is a web app that lets users connect supported Instagram and TikTok accounts and publish or schedule short-form videos. If you have connected a Facebook, Instagram, or TikTok account to FameScale and want us to delete the data we hold about you, follow the steps below. We complete verified deletion requests within 30 days.

Option 1 — Permanently delete your FameScale account

  1. Sign in to FameScale and open Settings.
  2. Open Danger zone and click Delete account.
  3. If you signed up with Google and do not have a FameScale password, use the password-setup email option in Settings first.
  4. Enter your current FameScale password and account email, then confirm permanent deletion.

This immediately disables publishing, cancels any active FameScale subscription, removes connected access tokens, uploaded videos, schedules, posting history, sessions, and the rest of your workspace data. A confirmation is sent to your account email.

Option 2 — Disconnect a specific connected social account

If you only want to stop FameScale from accessing one of your connected accounts:

  1. Sign in to FameScale and open the connected-accounts settings.
  2. Click Disconnect on the account you want to remove.

For Instagram/Facebook connections, access tokens are deleted immediately. Connected-account metadata and posting history may be retained for up to 30 days for audit/debugging unless you request earlier deletion.

For TikTok connections, FameScale attempts to revoke the TikTok authorization, then deletes the locally stored access and refresh tokens, connected-account metadata, and associated TikTok posting records. You must allow any active TikTok posting attempt to finish before disconnecting.

YouTube data and authorization (where enabled)

In the YouTube channel controls, Disconnect first requests cancellation of pending work and withdrawal of remote publication schedules, then revokes authorization and removes local credentials. Revoke YouTube access communicates the withdrawal to Google immediately. If remote cleanup cannot be confirmed, review the reported videos and schedules directly in YouTube Studio. You can also revoke at Google security permissions.

To delete all YouTube data retained by FameScale, use workspace deletion or send a verified request to akos@famescale.co. YouTube API data is removed within seven calendar days of an in-app revocation or verified deletion request. Deleting FameScale data does not delete your YouTube videos; use YouTube Studio for that. Your own uploaded source files and approved instructions are included when you request full workspace deletion.

Option 3 — Revoke FameScale from Facebook directly

  1. Open facebook.com/settings → Apps and Websites.
  2. Find FameScale in the list of connected apps.
  3. Click Remove. This revokes our access to your Facebook and Instagram data going forward.

Revoking from Facebook stops new data from flowing in, but does not by itself delete data we have already stored. To request full deletion of stored data, use Option 1 or 5.

Option 4 — Revoke FameScale from TikTok directly

  1. In the TikTok app, open Profile, then tap Menu.
  2. Open Settings and privacy → Security & permissions → Apps and services permissions.
  3. Select FameScale and tap Remove access.

Removing access in TikTok stops future API access. It does not by itself delete records already stored by FameScale. To delete those records, disconnect the account in FameScale or use Option 1 or 5.

Option 5 — Email us to delete all stored data

Send an email to akos@famescale.co with the subject line "FameScale data deletion request" and include:

We will reply to confirm receipt, verify the request, delete your data, and confirm completion — all within 30 days.

If you use Sign in with Google, you can also remove FameScale from your Google account connections. Removing that consent does not delete your FameScale workspace or cancel billing. Use Option 1 or 5 for account deletion.

What gets deleted

On a verified deletion request we delete:

Payment and transaction records may be retained by our payment provider where required for tax, accounting, fraud prevention, or other legal obligations. We do not retain copies of Facebook, Instagram, or TikTok content outside of what is listed above, and we share this data only as described in our Privacy Policy.
