Privacy Policy for FameScale

FameScale ("the app", "we", "us") is a web app that lets users connect supported social media accounts, upload approved short-form videos, organize profiles into groups, and publish or schedule content. It is operated by Mint Studios Agency SRL (Romania). This policy explains what data we collect — including data obtained through Sign in with Google, Facebook Login, the Meta/Instagram Graph API, TikTok Login Kit, the TikTok Content Posting API, and (where enabled) the YouTube Data API — why we collect it, and your choices. 1. Who we are

FameScale is operated by Mint Studios Agency SRL, Romania. For any privacy question contact akos@famescale.co.

2. How you sign in

You can sign up or sign in with an email address and password, or use Sign in with Google. Google login requests only your basic identity. We verify Google's signed identity token and store your Google account identifier, verified email address, and your name if provided when you create an account. We do not retain Google's identity token, profile picture, or Google access or refresh tokens for login.

When the same email already belongs to a FameScale account, you must confirm that account's existing FameScale password before linking Google. Linking preserves your workspace, subscription, and access. Facebook Login and TikTok Login Kit remain separate authorization flows for connecting the social accounts and business assets you select after signing in.

Google login does not authorize access to Gmail, Drive, or YouTube, or permission to publish content. Google receives the sign-in request from your browser. Its handling of that data is described in Google's Privacy Policy. FameScale uses Google identity data only for authentication, account security, and operating your account, in accordance with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements where applicable.

When you instruct FameScale to publish, TikTok receives the selected video and posting settings in order to process and publish the post. FameScale does not receive your TikTok password, private messages, contacts, follower list, or unrelated TikTok content through these permissions.

YouTube connection and posting data

YouTube posting is currently limited to internal testing. Connecting a YouTube channel is a separate, optional authorization from Google sign-in. With your consent, FameScale uses the YouTube Data API to identify the channel you select, upload the videos you explicitly approve, read upload/processing/visibility results, and apply the publication times or cancellations you request. The Google permission used for these operations can also permit editing or deleting YouTube content; FameScale does not delete remote videos by default.

We store the selected channel identifier, channel name/profile-image reference, encrypted YouTube access and refresh tokens, token expiry/scopes, your exact approved video/metadata/settings and publication instructions, protected resumable-upload state, and YouTube video identifiers, processing results, visibility and publication observations. Offline authorization lets workers carry out your approved instructions while your browser is closed. Google login uses a separate project and authorization from YouTube posting.

YouTube-only source uploads use private managed storage. If you explicitly choose Instagram as a destination too, Instagram requires an HTTPS media source accessible to its publishing service. FameScale streams bounded portions of your approved source to YouTube and does not download video content from YouTube. Titles/descriptions marked as AI-generated require your approval of the exact text before upload; connecting YouTube does not itself send YouTube account/API data to an AI provider.

FameScale uses Google and YouTube data only to provide the functions you authorize, following the Google API Services User Data Policy, including Limited Use requirements. We do not sell that data, use it for advertising, or use it to train general-purpose AI models. Google's processing is described in Google's Privacy Policy; YouTube use is also subject to the YouTube Terms of Service.

You can disconnect the channel, revoke its Google authorization, or request deletion of stored YouTube data through the enabled channel controls or by emailing akos@famescale.co. Revoke communicates the withdrawal to Google immediately and removes local credentials. It may prevent FameScale from cancelling an existing remote publication schedule, which you must then review in YouTube Studio. Disconnect first attempts to stop pending work and confirm remote schedules are withdrawn, then revokes access and removes credentials. Stored YouTube API data is removed within seven calendar days of in-app revocation or a verified deletion request; we check retained authorizations and refresh or erase other cached API observations within 30 days. Your own submitted content and approved instructions may remain until you remove them or delete your workspace.

You may also revoke authorization at Google security permissions. Revocation, disconnecting FameScale, or deleting FameScale's stored data does not delete videos from YouTube. Use YouTube Studio to manage or delete those videos. FameScale shows the last observed remote status and flags unresolved upload, cancellation or publication outcomes instead of assuming success.

We do not use your data for advertising or profiling, and we do not sell or rent it.

9. Data retention and deletion

When you disconnect an Instagram or Facebook account from FameScale, the access tokens for that connection are deleted immediately. Connected-account metadata and posting history may be retained for up to 30 days for audit and debugging purposes unless you request earlier deletion.

When you disconnect a TikTok account, FameScale first attempts to revoke the active TikTok authorization and then deletes the locally stored tokens, connected-account metadata, and associated TikTok posting records. You must allow any active posting attempt to finish before disconnecting. Short-lived OAuth security-state records expire after ten minutes.

You can permanently delete your FameScale account from Settings → Danger zone. Self-service deletion immediately disables publishing, cancels any active FameScale subscription, removes connected Meta, TikTok and YouTube access after in-flight publication cleanup, uploaded videos, schedules, posting history, sessions, your linked Google identity, and other workspace data.

Payment and transaction records may be retained by our payment provider where required for tax, accounting, fraud prevention, or other legal obligations. To request deletion without using the in-app control, follow the instructions at famescale.co/famescaleos-data-deletion or email akos@famescale.co. We complete other verified deletion requests within 30 days.

If you signed up with Google and have not set a FameScale password, use the email password-setup option in Settings before self-service account deletion, or contact us for verified deletion. Removing FameScale from your Google account connections prevents future Google sign-in consent from being reused; it does not delete your FameScale workspace or cancel your subscription. Google identity records are removed when your FameScale account is deleted. Sign-in security challenges expire after ten minutes and expired records are removed during subsequent sign-in attempts.

10. Your rights

FameScale is provided from Romania and this policy is governed by Romanian law; EU GDPR applies. Depending on where you live (e.g. GDPR/EEA, UK, California), you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict its processing. To exercise any of these, contact akos@famescale.co.

You can also revoke FameScale's access to your Facebook data at any time at facebook.com/settings → Apps and Websites.

To revoke FameScale's TikTok access, open the TikTok app and go to Profile → Menu → Settings and privacy → Security & permissions → Apps and services permissions, select FameScale, and tap Remove access. You can also disconnect TikTok from FameScale. Revoking access stops future API access but does not automatically delete records already stored by FameScale; use our disconnect or deletion options for that.

11. Children

FameScale is not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 in the EEA), and we do not knowingly collect data from them. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact akos@famescale.co and we will delete it.

12. Security

We use encrypted transport (HTTPS/TLS), encrypt stored access and refresh tokens, keep platform client secrets on the server, and enforce per-user access controls. No method of storage or transmission is 100% secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your data.

13. Changes

We may update this policy. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, an in-app notice.
