Crayo publishing workflow

From Crayo clips to a publishing schedule.

Crayo helps you turn ideas and source footage into short-form videos. Once the edits are ready, the next job is organizing which clips go to which accounts, and when. This guide walks through that handoff for creators, clippers, and agencies.

What is Crayo?

Crayo is an AI video editing platform. Its official website lists auto clipping, subtitles, AI voiceovers, and other creation tools. Those features help prepare short-form content before you publish it.

Start by deciding what you need help with: creating the video, distributing the finished file, or both. For a team already editing in Crayo, the useful question is how to move approved exports into a consistent posting process.

How to schedule videos made in Crayo

Keep a clear handoff between editing and publishing so the final version reaches the right profile.

  1. Finish and review the edit in Crayo.

Check the opening hook, subtitles, framing, and audio. Confirm you have permission to use the source footage, music, and any other assets before preparing the final export.

  2. Export a finished video file.

Download the final edit and use a descriptive filename such as client-campaign-topic-v01.mp4. Keep drafts separate from approved files. Check the receiving platform’s current format and duration requirements.

  3. Upload the approved file to FameScale.

Add the finished export to your video library. This step uses the downloaded file; it does not sync Crayo projects or pull new exports automatically.

  4. Choose accounts and publishing details.

Select your connected TikTok, Instagram, or YouTube accounts. Review captions and any platform-specific fields, then choose Post now or a future publishing time.

  5. Review the schedule and posting history.

Confirm the destinations before submitting. Afterward, check publishing status and investigate any failed destination before retrying. A scheduled item is not the same as a confirmed live post.

A practical workflow for a batch of clips

Suppose your editor delivers 12 approved Crayo exports for a weekly campaign. First group the files by topic and intended account. Write the captions, check the rights, and decide which clips belong on each platform before creating the schedule.

For one brand across three platforms, use FameScale’s cross-platform scheduler to select the connected destinations for each video. For several profiles, use account groups and rotation to organize how a batch moves through the network. Keep each account’s audience and purpose in mind when choosing its clips.

Treat 12 exported videos and 12 publications as different counts. If every video is published to three destinations, the plan contains 36 publications. This is a planning example, not a recommendation to publish every clip everywhere. Compare your planned destinations with your subscription’s capacity.

Do you need Crayo, FameScale, or both?

If your bottleneck is turning long footage into finished clips, evaluate Crayo’s editing workflow. If you already have approved video files and spend time switching accounts or tracking what has posted, evaluate FameScale’s publishing workflow.

You can use FameScale with finished exports from other editors too. Crayo is not required. If you use both tools, keep the final file and approved copy as the handoff between them, and budget for each product separately.

For a single account with occasional posts, native platform scheduling may cover your needs. A shared publishing workflow becomes more useful as the number of clips, profiles, and operators grows.
